How do you find a leak in an apartment building?

We test one possible source at a time: flood testing balconies and planter boxes, checking window and parapet seals, and testing water and irrigation lines. Once we find it, we fix it and report back with photos.

How often should a building's sewer be jetted?

It depends on the building and nearby trees. Some Elwood buildings we look after have their sewer jetted every six months to stop roots and debris building up.

My gas hot water unit is leaking. Can it be repaired?

If the cylinder itself has burst, it can't be repaired and the unit needs replacing. We isolate the gas and water so it's safe, then remove the old unit and install the new one.
