What plumbing stages are involved in a new build?
A new build usually involves several plumbing stages: underground drainage and sewer connection before the slab is poured, rough-in of water supply and waste pipework once the frame is up, stormwater and roof drainage at lock-up, and final fit-off of fixtures, taps, toilets, and hot water once finishes are complete. Each stage is inspected, and a Certificate of Compliance is provided for the completed plumbing work. Booking your plumber early helps avoid delays between trades.
