Plumber in Toorak

Toorak homes are big, and so are the plumbing systems behind them: several bathrooms, pool houses, outdoor kitchens, boilers and long stormwater runs under established gardens. We're based nearby in Glen Iris and work across Toorak on everything from a dripping tap to multi-stage renovations, where we run new sewer, stormwater, water and gas and install flashings and gutters. Day to day we fix leaking toilets and taps, clear tree roots from stormwater and sewer lines, and replace and re-flue hot water systems, with a photo report on every job.

Stormwater riser cleared of tree roots

Wall flashings to stop water getting in

Water was getting into the house at an external wall. We sealed the wall, made up and installed new flashings, and sealed other areas of the roof where water could get in.

What we fix in Toorak

Tree roots in stormwater and sewer

Big gardens mean big roots. We clear blocked risers and sewer mains with a jetter and camera, and find the joint the roots got in through.

Hot water and flues

We replace and re-flue gas storage units, install continuous-flow systems and remove old solar hot water when it's no longer worth repairing.

Renovation plumbing

From sewer and stormwater trenches to stack work, roof flashings and fit-off, we run the plumbing on renovations and keep the builder and owner updated at every stage.

Water getting in at walls and roof junctions

Wall junctions, chimneys and roof transitions are common entry points in larger, older homes. We install new flashings and seal the problem areas rather than patching the ceiling.

Toorak plumbing questions answered

Can you work with my builder on a Toorak renovation?

Yes. We regularly run renovation plumbing in Toorak alongside builders: sewer and stormwater, water and gas rough-in, stack work, roof flashings, gutters and downpipes, and fit-off. We plan each stage with the site foreman and report progress with photos.

Why does my stormwater keep blocking?

In Toorak it's usually tree roots getting into a riser or joint, or a section of pipe that was never sealed properly. We clear it, check the line with a camera and show you the cause so you can decide on a repair.

Do you replace hot water systems in larger homes?

Yes. We install residential and commercial continuous-flow units, replace and re-flue internal gas storage units, and remove old solar hot water systems when they're no longer worth keeping.
